Spray the Bottom Valve with a diluted solution of bleach of your chosen sanitizing solution. Open the Valve and drain the dead yeast into a small pan or cup. Close the Valve and spray the Valve again, washing off any yeast on the outside of the Valve. The thrust of the flow will drain most of the dead yeast from inside the Cone. This separation of dead yeast from the fermenter prevents any bacteria from entering into your Fermenter.
