MiniBrew™ 13.5 Gallon Conical Fermenter

More capacity. Same clean MiniBrew workflow. Built to upgrade. 🍻
Made in the USA • 60º Conical Design • Food‑Grade HDPE • 4" Top Port

Big‑batch conical fermenting — without the commercial headaches ✅

The MiniBrew™ 13.5G lets you scale up while keeping the process simple and repeatable. You get the same proven MiniBrew conical workflow—dump, rack, and transfer with control—plus the extra capacity to double recipes, run bigger batches, or give high‑activity beers more room.

Start with the base model hardware and add only the upgrades that match your process as you grow.

Why the MiniBrew™ 13.5G works so well ✅

True 60º conical design

The 60º cone helps yeast and trub collect where they belong, making sediment management and transfers more controlled and repeatable.

One‑tank brewing workflow

Ferment, dump, rack, and transfer from one vessel—fewer steps, less agitation, fewer chances for oxygen exposure.

Big 4" top port

Easy access for cleaning, krausen removal, and dry hopping. A huge upgrade over narrow‑neck fermenters.

Tough, brew‑day practical

Made from food‑grade HDPE (high‑density polyethylene) with smooth interior walls—lightweight, impact‑resistant, and much safer to handle than glass.

Standard hardware included (base model) ✅

(Same hardware setup as the 8G conical)

  • (1) 1/2" EZ Seal weldless bulkhead

  • (1) 1" stainless NPT threaded nipple

  • (1) 1" stainless full‑port ball valve

Open‑top lid option (sold as an upgrade kit) 🧼

Prefer open access for cleaning and additions? The Open Top Lid Upgrade uses the same tank, same hardware, same fittings—the lid style is the difference:

  • Open Top Lid: removable lid seated on the top of the fermenter

  • Includes a Buna‑N gasket for a proper seal

  • Does not allow CO₂‑pressurized transfers (open‑top configuration)

This is offered as a separate upgrade kit product, so there’s no need for two variants.

Choose your upgrades (High ROI Add-Ons)🔧

Build your system over time—choose only what matches your process:

  • Tri‑Clamp Upgrade Kit 🧼
Fastest cleaning + most sanitary workflow. Quick breakdowns, modular add‑ons, pro‑style connections.

  • Ball Lock Transfer Kit 🔒
Cleaner, closed transfers to kegs (CO₂‑assisted workflow) on closed‑top setups.

  • Sight Glass Hardware Kit 👀
Instant volume visibility. Easy monitoring during filling, fermentation, and transfers.

  • SS Cooling Coil Lid ❄️🌡️
Real temperature control. Recirculate ice water or glycol for steady, repeatable fermentation temps.

  • Thermowell EZ Seal Kit 🌡️
Accurate probe readings (Inkbird compatible). Protects your temp probe while measuring true liquid temperature.

(Upgrade kits sold separately.)

    Home brew upgrade

I have just received and assembled my new 13.5 gallon Minibrew fermenter but have not had the opportunity to try it out yet. I have to reformulate my recipe's from 5-6 gallon to 10 gallon and will be doing so later this week with a "new brew" scheduled for next weekend.

The unit arrived quite quickly with UPS, at these times you are never sure with cross border shipments to Canada and although UPS were efficient, the fact they left the parcel lying on my driveway with out announcing it's arrival, did not impress me. It could have easily been stolen without me even being aware of it's arrival.

The fermenter itself is all that was advertised and I will now plan on accessorising it with a ball lock fitting to pump the finished been into kegs. The unit is sturdy and well designed and I have no doubt will fill my need of a more efficient 10 gallon brew precisely. It should save both time and effort once I finish the upgrade of the HLT and Brew kettle to all Electric shortly.

Having had a close look at the fermenter I wonder if a wheeled option might one day be available? I will probably look at securing it to platform with castors to enable me to move it full in my basement brew station but will check the stability before going that route.

Overall, seems like I make a wise choice for this unit.

    Glad I did this!

I’m loving my fermenter. So happy to be away from carboys, simple yeast collection...all the stuff that’s advertised.

I use a thermowell in the provided port for my temp controller. Also, I’m able to drain directly into my bottling bucket or keg.

When I was brewing 10+ gallon batches and fermenting in two carboys, I was never able to get the two carboys to come out identical to each other, particularly when priming for bottling. Now I add the priming sugar into the fermenter after draining the yeast+trub. Problem solved!!!
