 The MiniBrew™ - 13.5 Gallon Conical Fermenter

The Minibrew™ 13.5 Gallon Conical Fermenter is the perfect fermenter for brewing commercial or microbrewery quality beer, with none of the hassle of commercial brewing. Double standard five gallon recipes and select an open top style or a traditional closed top.

Utilizing a science-backed 60º cone and cylinder, the Minibrew Conical Fermenters create the perfect environment for convection currents and yeast to thrive achieving maximizing utilization of all the ingredients which produces a better-tasting end product.

Not only is it better, it will be ready to serve quicker! The cone and cylinder also nearly cut your fermentation time in half.

Single vessel fermentation means no secondary transfers, no siphons and fewer transfers with less agitation means even less hassle and a lower risk of infection. The fermenter does all the work.

Designed specifically for homebrewing application, each design aspect was carefully chosen to offer the greatest utility, durability and ease of use. All the advantages of fermentation tanks in commercial brewing.  At a fraction of the cost, we deliver the best value in class since 1997.

    Home brew upgrade

I have just received and assembled my new 13.5 gallon Minibrew fermenter but have not had the opportunity to try it out yet. I have to reformulate my recipe's from 5-6 gallon to 10 gallon and will be doing so later this week with a "new brew" scheduled for next weekend.

The unit arrived quite quickly with UPS, at these times you are never sure with cross border shipments to Canada and although UPS were efficient, the fact they left the parcel lying on my driveway with out announcing it's arrival, did not impress me. It could have easily been stolen without me even being aware of it's arrival.

The fermenter itself is all that was advertised and I will now plan on accessorising it with a ball lock fitting to pump the finished been into kegs. The unit is sturdy and well designed and I have no doubt will fill my need of a more efficient 10 gallon brew precisely. It should save both time and effort once I finish the upgrade of the HLT and Brew kettle to all Electric shortly.

Having had a close look at the fermenter I wonder if a wheeled option might one day be available? I will probably look at securing it to platform with castors to enable me to move it full in my basement brew station but will check the stability before going that route.

Overall, seems like I make a wise choice for this unit.

    Glad I did this!

I’m loving my fermenter. So happy to be away from carboys, simple yeast collection...all the stuff that’s advertised.

I use a thermowell in the provided port for my temp controller. Also, I’m able to drain directly into my bottling bucket or keg.

When I was brewing 10+ gallon batches and fermenting in two carboys, I was never able to get the two carboys to come out identical to each other, particularly when priming for bottling. Now I add the priming sugar into the fermenter after draining the yeast+trub. Problem solved!!!
